Corporate Overview

The 2009 Gold Coast ITU Triathlon World Championships presents five days of triathlon competition, community activities, evening entertainment programs, corporate events and functions, along with one of the biggest Sport & Lifestyle Expos in the Southern Hemisphere. There are events for everyone, from triathlon newcomers, to the elite fitness fanatics and lifestyle enthusiasts.

The feature event of the festival is the Dextro Energy Triathlon – ITU World Championships Grand Final seeing the world’s best triathletes converge on the Gold Coast. This grand final event will also host the ITU Corporate Teams and Teams Relay Triathlon World Championships presented by The Courier-Mail and provide something for the professional as well as the recreational triathlete.
         
With over 42 countries involved, 6200 worldwide competitors including 3000 ‘home grown’ hero’s and approximately 1500 corporate competitors, and over 60,000 spectators this event will be one of the BIGGEST triathlon and multi sport festivals in Australia. With competition, hospitality and retreat options available, the festival provides an ideal setting to network, entertain and relax while PARTICIPATING in a World Championship event!

With both Enticer and Olympic distance team events, the TWC has something for all levels of ability and will incorporate the oNLY Corportae Triathlon World Championship event of 2009!
